3. Seeking Medical Treatment.

If you’ve been injured as a result of someone else’s negligence, you generally have two years to start a lawsuit. There are exceptions that shorten this period significantly. It is essential that you contact a lawyer as soon as possible to ensure your rights are protected. In hiring KazLaw, we also pay for any court fees that may be involved in your legal action and later bill them to ICBC.Exchanging documentation plays a crucial role in preparing for a lawsuit. At KazLaw, you can rest assured that your privacy rights are protected.  It is important that we keep ICBC updated with your claim, however, any irrelevant information is vetted to ensure that your rights are protected.

Starting a lawsuit does not mean you will have to go to court. Most cases settle before going to trial. While it is often best to settle before trial, going to court is always a possibility. With this in mind, it is essential that you choose a trial lawyer. If ICBC doesn’t believe your lawyer is willing to go to court, they will not offer a reasonable settlement. All lawyers at KazLaw are trial lawyers and ICBC is well aware of our unmitigated record of success in the courtroom.
