Giving back. Our community.

Our founding partner, Marc Kazimirski, is an avid cyclist and was on the Canadian National Team for Cyclocross and Mountain Biking.  Marc advocates for cyclists throughout British Columbia and is committed to promoting cycling safety and healthy living.

Through his passion for cycling, Marc created the KazLaw Community Foundation, which represents our commitment to the development of up-and-coming athletes in the British Columbia. Part of our contribution is through the KazLaw Community Mountain Biking Award, which sponsors two deserving athletes to participate in the BC Bike Race. This is a seven day mountain bike adventure that is recognized as one of the toughest (and most fun) cycling events in the world.

The KazLaw Community Foundation also sponsors the      Rocky Mountain Factory Team and provides financial support for these talented mountain-bikers and other individual athletes such as BC Cyclocross champion Kevin Noiles and legendary triathlete/coach Paul Cross. More recently, the KazLaw Community Foundation has sponsored Steed Cycles.

Marc has also been on the Board of Directors of the Adrian Campbell Memorial Scholarship Fund since 2012. The scholarship fund is in memoriam of a close friend of Marc’s who was involved in numerous sports, particularly cycling and running. The scholarship fund supports young athletes at the beginning of their post-secondary education.

In addition to supporting organizations with a cycling focus, the KazLaw Community Foundation has supported the Dr. Peters Aids Foundation since 2010. The Foundation raises funds for an assisted-living residence and health care centre dedicated to helping those with HIV and AIDS.
